YEAR IN REVIEW

From an untold number of parking spots to millions of dollars in budget cuts, FAU lost a lot in 2009. From a president who is also an alumnus to our greatest quarterback, we also said goodbye to several important Owls this year.

Despite the bad news, FAU grew. All seven campuses were expanded and improved by the addition of new facilities. From administrators to students to alumni, and from models to Mensans, the FAU community accomplished a lot.

This issue highlights how FAU changed for the better despite difficulties in 2009.

It’s impossible to cover an entire year in one issue, though. So, click here to find out more about the photos on the cover and to read more stories from last year.
