At the end of Loxahatchee Road in Parkland is a small Everglades museum at Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge that includes educational material about the area, like the wildlife, shells, fish, and a 6-foot-long alligator. In the Everglades wildlife parks, gators like this can be seen on air boat rides going out every hour given by the park employees. Photo by Liz Dzuro
