FAU police reported today that freshman Nicholas Cady-Jantzen confessed to throwing away more than 900 copies of the UP’s Feb. 23 issue.

Cady-Jantzen is a brother in the Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike) fraternity. The issues that he took had a story about alleged hazing practices in FAU fraternities.

The UP will not be pressing charges, but the case now goes to the office of Corey King, the dean of students, where Cady-Jantzen will face consequences under the Student Code of Conduct.
