Music to my Soul: A Life Well Noted

On Wednesday, Sept. 10 the Florida Atlantic University Davie campus held a songwriting workshop called “Music to my Soul: A Life Well Noted.” The event — hosted by the Davie Student Union, Student Involvement and the Counseling Center — was created to promote “dialogue and awareness about mental health and coping with stress.”
Students collaborated with each other to write and sing a song along with professional music duo Chrisie Stantoni and Craig Smith of The Billies. The two also performed the finished song live and a CD of the final product was given out to all participants at the end of the day.
